Snap a flyer.
Get a calendar date.
Point RectoDate at a school flyer, an oil-change sticker, or an appointment card.
It reads the paper on your phone and opens a calendar event for you to save.
It reads the paper on the phone. The photo and the text on it never leave the
device. No account, no ads, no tracking.
What it is for
- A school newsletter with a dozen dates on it โ RectoDate proposes them all at once, and
knows "No School" is not the same thing as "Picture Day".
- The sticker in your windscreen, the card from the dentist, the parish bulletin with two
Sunday mass times on one line.
- A screenshot of a flyer someone sent you โ share it straight into RectoDate.
How it behaves
- It shows you its work. Nothing reaches your calendar until you review it and
press Save in your own calendar app.
- It admits when it is guessing. If the paper says "Doors 7:00" with no AM or
PM, or a date with no year, RectoDate marks the guess instead of hiding it.
- It gets out of the way. If it cannot find a date, you tap the date on the
photo yourself.
